April 2024 Current Needs – Bermuda
Bermuda is an upscale, English-speaking island in the Atlantic Ocean, located approximately 650 miles off the coast of North Carolina. It’s known for its beautiful pink sand beaches, mild climate, and extremely low tax rates. Bermuda is a global hub for tourism and international finance and has excellent infrastructure. The island is 21 square miles in size with a population of 64,000. Flights to Bermuda are only 2.5 hours in length from several major US hubs along the east coast.
Our client is the leading supermarket chain on the island, operating nine (9) grocery stores and two (2) club-format stores. The leadership team consists of grocery professionals from the United States, the UK, and Bermuda, so store conditions and expectations are very similar to those in major urban and suburban markets. The company’s primary wholesaler is US-based, so product selection, including private label items, will also feel familiar.
We are currently recruiting for several key roles, including:
Director of Food Service (Prepared Foods, Catering, Cafes)
Assistant Store Managers, Store Managers
Produce Managers, Meat Managers
Must have 3+ years of current / very recent supermarket experience to be considered
Excellent compensation and very low taxation!
